SOFIAE being in its set-up phase, the number of projects is rather limited.

ICAST web site

We are currently developing an engine to make ICAST's impressive bibliography on industrial ecology accessible via the World Wide Web. This includes developing a database, devising a search engine and creating administrative tool for maintaining the bibliography. This work also entails a total redesign of the ICAST web site.

Material Flow Analyis

In order to provide a first demonstration of our capabilities, we are developing a material flow analysis software. This program should help simulate and manage eco-industrial networks. As such its architecture is planned to be distributed, taking advantage of the Internet to delegate to individual industries their modelisation within the framework of the eco-industrial networks they are part of (be it an industrial park or a whole region).

This project is currently in the analysis phase.
